Construction progress photo checklist

1. Before the walk

• Confirm jobsite, planned areas, and authorized access.
• Review prior photos and open documentation questions.
• Check battery, storage, lens, time setting, and location availability.
• Plan coverage before relevant work is concealed.

2. Capture the sequence

• Overall view that identifies the area.
• Changed work since the prior visit.
• Relevant detail connected to an overview.
• Work about to be covered, where applicable.
• Open questions, with factual notes and next steps.

3. Before leaving

• Open important images and check clarity.
• Confirm project association and useful location notes.
• Check upload or backup; identify anything still queued.
• Record any inaccessible or unphotographed areas.
• Choose the appropriate selection for the recipient.
